Bio:Bio:
Gabriela Marotta has the most wonderful memories of the USA, since she lived for two years in Ann Arbor, Michigan during her childhood. Her father, an Argentine Air Force Officer, won a scholarship to study Airspace Engineering at the University of Michigan, and got his Master’s Degree in 1968.
She speaks four languages: Spanish, German, French and English, and attended Goethe Schule in Buenos Aires. She started Literature studies at UBA, but didn’t finish her degree. Nevertheless, she has always been fond of languages, so she started a Teacher Training Course at ATICANA, while teaching English in St. Patrick School, in Tucumán. She graduated in 1997, and got a teaching position in the BNC. She has gained experience teaching in Children, Adolescent and Adult Courses since then, and also taught English at the UNT (Extensión Cultural). She was promoted to Academic Director of ATICANA in 2016.
She has two daughters, Diana and Cecilia, and a black and white male cat called Alteo, who play a very important role in her life!
